UPDATE | What I've been up to.

Hey guys. Long time, no post eh

 Its been a struggle for me to write a post because I haven't had the time so I just want to apologise for that. A lot of exciting things have been going on for me and I'm still trying to take it all in. I really don't want to jinx some things so I'll rather not go into them. I'm in my final year of sixth form which is stress on its own and of course getting the grade I need to get to my desired Uni is my number one priority at the moment. I started working at Superdry a couple of weeks ago { which is actually so fun...Everyone is so lovely and you immediately feel like you're part of the family } and so I've had to split my time up between college and work. Ofcourse I haven't forgotten to purchase some clothing pieces though - which I'll be posting up sometime this week. I feel like I'm finally finding my style and its been such an exciting journey for me. I find myself always planning outfits and making sure I have at least 1 or 2 clothing pieces in my made up/planned out outfits. 

The good news for me is that its half-term next week which means a chunk of blogpost and catching up on things I've had to put on hold which really is much needed so I'm pretty excited about my weeks to come. 

I feel like I'm at that point in my life where I'm happy and my plan is finally panning out the way I've wanted it to and it really hasn't been easy getting to this point but one thing I've had to realise is that happiness is a choice and no one can ever make you happy. Obviously I still have my off days, which everyone does, but its so much easier for me to genuinely smile again. Ending off on that note, I hope you all have a good week and stay blessed xo

UPDATE | My Sundays..

                                                                                           Hey guys,

I realised that Sundays is the day I have enough time to blog and just relax, probably most of you feel the same way too. Anyway I'm currently in Aberdeen for work experience and I'm having the best time! It's really quiet down here, which is a good thing for me cause I can get away from everything/everyone and have some me time. 

Even in Aberdeen, my Sundays are pretty basic. I blog, watch movies, carry out some research for college work - still doing work even when I'm technically on holiday urgh - and do a number of other things on my MacBook.

Then I read my VOGUE magazines for like an hour - and no I'm not a slow reader, I just enjoy reading every article. It's not all about the pictures for me.

I like to also engage in some nail art on Sundays. I'm not an expert when it comes to nails so I like to stick to one or two colours, nothing to loud. I like my dull colours like burgundy, brown, really dark reds, black and occasionally I use white or some dark shades of pink. I'm not really fussed on what make nail polish I'm using, as long as it gets the job done and it doesn't take too long to dry, ain't nobody got time for that haha.

UPDATE | Things I'm loving

Hey guys

Just thought i'd do a post on a couple of items I'm loving at the moment and a few things I'm looking to purchase so i guess its kind of a wish list as well. 

Im absolutely loving summer platform sandals, especially white ones and i just had to purchase a pair. Its just perfect for the summer! Just sitting here day dreaming about wearing them with some sheer stripe sock and some white mesh oversized tee as a dress gets me excited lol. 

 I'm also loving cut out black boots like the JC coltranes but i'm too broke to afford a pair but thank God for ebay right? hopefully i'll find a similar pair soon. 

Zara Skorts are simply amazing and of course i ordered a pair. i just love how unique they are, trust Zara to think of this. 

MESH! MESH! MESH! I've been obsessed with mesh pieces these days to be honest and my search for a perfect oversized mesh tee still continues unfortunately but i'm determined to keep searching.

I know she's not a thing but i LOVE Daphne Groeneveld! She's so beautiful and an amazing model. Everything about her is just perf, so is her boyfriend. Urgh just thinking about how cute they are together makes me realise how sad my life is lol. I can go on about her for days..

Last but not the list, SUMMER SALES! They've been amazeballs. H&M have had some really good stuff and I've been able to find some mesh pieces from there so thats a plus. I can't wait to go back there tomorrow and hopefully i find even better stuff..eeek i'm excited haha. I hope you're also taking advantage of summer sales. Have a good week guys xo

Hi guyssss
Yes I know it's been a while since I've posted an update but I've been so busy! As you know, I started sixth form and it is no picnic! The work that has to be done takes up half of my free time and I've found it hard to set aside time to update or take pictures for my blog.

However, I realised I've been neglecting my blog and I took a couple of pictures...and then something very tragic happened. My camera lens broke :(, but it's okay, there's always an alternative to things and mine is going to be using my iPhone and updating my blog from my iPhone or taking pictures via my MacBook. I will be getting a new camera lens very soon so I'll resume taking pictures using my Nikon dslr.

Luckily I did take a couple of ootd pictures before the lens of my camera broke and I'll be updating my blog over the weekend.

Anyway, i don't know about you but I'm looking forward to my weekend, as it's half-term 😝 but yeah, hope you have a great weekend xoxo
